The Look: Angelina Jolie (Inspired by the Oscars)

Hi pretties! I have been really sick, and battling some really awful cold. I’ve got a little bit of everything..sore throat, runny/stuffy nose, stomach ache.. it’s terrible. I wanted to do a post today though, and recreate Angelina Jolie’s Oscars makeup because I was in love with her look that night. Her makeup and her dress were fabulous; she looked like royalty.  She had a very subtle smokey eye and light pink lips, and her makeup looked so beautiful with her dress because it was simple yet glamorous.

Makeup Steps:

Face- I first applied my contacts, Icy Blue by Desio Lens. I then applied Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer, followed Giorgio Armani’s Maestro Foundation in 5. Then I used Prep + Prime Highlighter in light boost by M.A.C. Cosmetics to highlight my nose, chin, forehead, and under eyes. I then used Los Cabos Matte Bronzing Powder from Sephora to contour cheeks and nose. I applied my blush to the apples of my cheeks, New Order by Nars and I used Copacabana by Nars a highlighter above cheeks, on my nose, and forehead.

Eyes- First I used Urban Decay Primer Potion to prime my eyelids. I highlighted my brow bone with Albatross by Nars, and also used this on my entire eyelid. In the center of my eyelid I applied Half Baked and in the crease of my eye I applied Tease, both from my Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay.  I applied Blackout (same palette) with a smudge brush to the outer corner of my eye. I then blended the colors in. I applied Chopper (Naked 2 Palette) to my bottom lash line on the inner area, and on my outer area I applied and smudged Blackout. I lined my waterline with the white from Revlon PhotoReady Kajal Intense Eyeliner + Brightener 001 Carbon and then applied black AMC Gel Liner #77 from Inglot Cosmetics to my upper lash line. I curled my lashes with my Billy B Beauty’s Eyelash Curler and applied Tarte MultiplEYE-prime followed by Lights, Camera, Flashes by Tarte. I used Brow Bar To Go by Whitening Lightning on my eyebrows, followed by Make Up For Ever Brow Seal to keep brows in place and keep the color on.

Lips- I lined my lips with Chanel Le Crayon Levres Precision Lip Definer in 34 Natural and mixed 2 lipsticks, Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick 500 Eccentrico by Giorgio Armani, with Myth by M.A.C. Cosmetics.

Indeed, you are more beautiful that Angelina Jolie – that’s just my opinion – an expert at make-up too – a “double-threat” kind of lady! 🙂 Beauty and skills.
