Mom’s Makeup and my MOTD

Hi beauties! I am watching the Oscars while writing this, and I am impressed by so many of the red carpet looks!! Who did you think was best dressed? Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence and Cate Blanchett had fabulous dresses! Many others looked gorgeous too, but I could go on and on about the fashion and who looked great. Anyways, today my parents went to a Christening, so my mom asked me to do her eye makeup, and of course, I said yes! I didn’t go to the Christening and was actually sick, but I did my makeup today and wore my gorgeous Icy Blue contacts from Desio, because wearing makeup makes me feel a little better when I’m not feeling well. Check out my moms eye makeup, and my makeup of the day below!

Mom’s Eye Makeup:

First I applied her primer, Tom Ford Beauty Eye Primer Duo, to her eyelid. I then applied the second lightest shade in Chanel’s Ombres Matelassees shadows to her brow bone. I used the fourth shade in that palette to the center of her eyelid and mixed/applied Goldilux by Sugarpill on top of it. I also applied Goldilux to her bottom lash line. I then applied Darkside from Naked3Palette by Urban Decay to the outer corner of her eye. I then lined her upper lash line with her Eye Defining Pen by Tom Ford Beauty and then applied her mascara, Ultra Length Mascara, Raven by Tom Ford Beauty. *Also, my mom’s dress is Escada and her shoes are Manolo Blahnik.

Makeup Steps:

Face- I applied Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer, followed Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation in 5.5. Then I used Prep + Prime Highlighter in light boost by M.A.C. Cosmetics to highlight my nose, chin, forehead, and under eyes. I then used Los Cabos Matte Bronzing Powder from Sephora to contour cheeks and nose. I applied my blush to the apples of my cheeks, Illamasqua cream blush, in Rude. I used Copacabana by Nars an illuminator above cheeks, on my nose, and forehead.

Eyes- First I used Urban Decay Primer Potion to prime my eyelids. I highlighted my brow bone with Albatross by Nars. Following that I used an off-white (#1) from my BH Cosmetics 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette 1st Edition in the inner corner of my eye and my entire eyelid. I also applied a turquoise (#2) from the same palette to the bottom of my lash line on the inner area and a blue (#3) on the outer part of my bottom lash line (the exact colors used from this palette are shown below). I applied Tease from my Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay in my crease and outer corner of my eye. I applied Chanel Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil Noir to my bottom waterline and applied black AMC Gel Liner #77 from Inglot Cosmetics to my upper lash line. I curled my lashes with my Billy B Beauty’s Eyelash Curler and applied Tarte MultiplEYE-prime followed by Lights, Camera, Flashes by Tarte. I used Brow Bar To Go by Whitening Lightning on my eyebrows, followed by Make Up For Ever Brow Seal to keep brows in place and keep the color on.

Lips- On the center of my lips I mixed Heroine and Girl About Town by M.A.C. Cosmetics and on the outer corner of my lips I mixed Cyber by M.A.C. Cosmetics and Black is Blue by Ardency Inn.
