MOTD/OOTD- Army Chic

Hi glamor girls! I hope everyone had a terrific day! I spent a decent portion of my day in the gym, and went out to an amazing French restaurant tonight with my cousin, her boyfriend, and my parents. It was a fun night, and the food was delicious! The restaurant isn’t crazy fancy, so I wanted to wear something that was cool and edgy. I decided to go with a fringe leather jacket, since fringe is really in right now, and army print jeans because I thought they were cool. I went for a brown and gold make up, because those colors work really well with army. I also wanted to do an orange lip because it’s the “it” lipstick color for the spring, and I am so tired of the snow and wanted to add something bright and cheery to my outfit! Also, orange looks great with gold, brown, and army. I hope you enjoy this look! XO ❤

Makeup Steps:

Face (basically my usual routine)- I applied Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer, followed by foundation, Studio Skin Oil Free in 2.1 in light beige from Smashbox. Then I used Prep + Prime Highlighter in light boost by Mac Cosmetics to highlight my nose, chin, forehead, and under eyes. I then used Los Cabos Matte Bronzing Powder from Sephora to contour cheeks and nose. I used Albatross from Nars as a highlighter above cheeks, and for an extra shimmer I added Elf Body Shimmer Mystic Moonlight. I then applied my blush, Illamasqua cream blush, in Rude.

Eyes- First I used Urban Decay Primer Potion to prime my eyelids. I highlighted my brow bone with Albatross by Nars. I then applied Stila eyeshadow in Copper on my eyelid, Galapagos by Nars on the outer corner of my eye, and Topaz by Laura Mercier in the crease of my eye. I then applied Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadow in Goldilux under my bottom lash line. I then applied Chanel Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil Noir to my bottom waterline and applied BH Liquid Eyeliner to my upper lash line. I curled my lashes with my Billy B Beauty’s Eyelash Curler and applied Tarte MultiplEYE-prime followed by Lights, Camera, Flashes by Tarte (I just purchased this and it is FABULOUS!) I used Brow Bar To Go by Whitening Lightning on my eyebrows, followed by Make Up For Ever Brow Seal to keep brows in place and keep the color on.

Lips- I applied Good To Go Pro Longwear Lipcreme by M.A.C. Cosmetics, followed by Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme.

Outfit: Shirt- Alice + Olivia, I purchased it a few years ago. Leather fringe jacket- Diane Von Furstenberg, which unfortunately is sold out. Camo jeans- Rag and Bone, I purchased them early in the fall so they are out of stock as well. Studded cuff bracelet and watch- both from Michael Kors. Lace Up Boots- Prada. Handbag- Prada Black Glace’ Calf Leather Shoulder Bag. It’s from a few years ago, but I just located one on Ebay.

The Look for Less: Shirt- Zara, Jacket- Steve Madden from Macy’s, Jeans- Forever 21, Boots- ASOS,  Cuff- Michael Kors, Watch- Betsey Johnson from Macy’s, Bag- Rebecca Minkoff
