The Look: Inspired by Rita Ora at the 2014 Grammy Awards (+ more!)

Hi beauties! Who watched the Grammy’s last night?! Everyone looked fabulous. Some of my favorite Red Carpet looks were Beyonce in Michael Costello, Katy Perry in Valentino Couture, Ciara in Emilio Pucci, Taylor Swift in Gucci Premiere, and of course, Rita Ora in Lanvin. There were so many more that I loved, but I could go on and on for hours! I am obsessed with Rita Ora’s makeup so I wanted to recreate her amazing look! I loved her purple eye shadow, it really brought out the purple tint that was in her dress. This look was dramatic yet soft at the same time; the light lipstick was the perfect combination with the gorgeous purple and hint of pink that she had in her makeup.

Rita Ora Inspired

To achieve this look:

Face- I first applied my foundation, Studio Skin Oil Free in 2.1 in light beige from Smashbox. Following that I applied Prep + Prime Highlighter in light boost from Mac Cosmetics to highlight my nose, chin, forehead, and above my cheek bones. I used Los Cabos Matte Bronzing Powder from Sephora to contour cheeks, and used Albatross from Nars as a highlighter above cheeks. I applied my blush, 99 Rose Petale Powder Blush from Chanel, to the apples of my cheeks. I then finished my face by applying my Invisible Loose Setting Powder by Laura Mercier.

Eyes- First I applied my Urban Decay Primer Potion to my eyelids. I dipped by Cream Shadow brush from Bobbi Brown in water so that my shadow would be more pigmented and dramatic, and applied Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadow in Weekender on my entire eyelid as well as under my bottom lash line. Using my Brush 03 from the Wayne Goss Collection, I applied Buzz from my Naked3 Palette by Urban Decay in the crease of my eyelids and Albatross by Nars to highlight my brow bone. Using my Brush 08 from the Wayne Goss Collection I applied AMC Eyeliner Gel – 77 from Inglot Cosmetics to the top of my lash line. I made sure that this line was very thin! I also used Chanel Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil Noir in my upper and lower waterline. I curled my lashes with my Billy B Beauty’s Eyelash Curler and applied Tarte MultiplEYE-prime followed by Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara by Tarte! I used Chanel Le Sourcil De Chanel Perfect Brows 20 Brun on my brows.

Lips- I mixed Myth by M.A.C. Cosmetics with Palm Beach by Le Metier De Beaute

I love Rito Ora’s look the best. Her dress, the hair and make up just so glamorous but not over done. I can’t get over her dress mostly
