Review: Drybar Blowout In a Box

Review: Drybar Blowout In a Box

A few weeks ago I purchased Drybar Blowout in a Box from Sephora. The blow dryer itself is called the Buttercup Blow Dryer. I have tried several different blow dryers over the years, and this one is my all time favorite. There are many heat and speed settings, I prefer to keep mine at the fastest drying speed and hottest temperature. I have a lot of hair and it used to take me 30 minutes with my old dryer but with this one I am done in 15 minutes or less, my hair is never frizzy after, and I don’t even need to use a straightener. Sephora sells the Buttercup dryer for $190, and the Blowout in a Box is $199. For $9 extra, it is worth it to purchase the Blowout in a Box. The set comes with the Buttercup Blow Dryer, a medium round brush (which I happen to love and now it’s the only brush I use when I dry my hair), Happy Hour Blowout shampoo and conditioner, Hot Toddy Heat Protector Frizz Fighter, and The Chaser Shine Cream. First off, these products smell delicious.. people are constantly smelling my hair and giving me compliments (as strange as that may be haha). The heat protector really helps prevent frizz, and I also think it’s been helping prevent my hair from becoming static-y as it does most winters. The shampoo and conditioner are lightweight, and don’t make my hair oily as many other shampoos and conditioners do. This product is expensive, but it will last for a long time so I think it’s a great investment! It also comes with extra filters, which I think is a great add on. It’s amazing! The blow dryer is powerful and dries my hair in half the time (with my old dryer it took about 30 minutes)! The products that it comes with are wonderful as well, and I really like the brush that it comes with.
